How can we improve Simkl?

  2. Responsive layout

    The issue is that the website isn't responsive for the screen layout of your browser.
    This prevents a user to use splitscreen or lesser used widths on some devices.
    This would be done by changing the internal code of the JS.
    And i know it's probably something that you are already working on, but i would like to see what the community thinks about this!

  3. Crunchyroll episode list incomplete

    Simkl works mostly great, but there are crunchyroll episodes not indexed.
    This also makes the scrobbler extension not to work.
    For example:

  5. Ability to remove 'Movies waiting to be rated...' on Overview

    I have hundreds of movies watched but not rated, some movies are from years and years ago that I know I've watched. So instead of manually going through them all trying to remember what they was like or rewatch just to rate them, could we have an option to hide it?

    Please allow tu customize the weekly watched stats tweet just like the other tweets. Default tweet is in English.

  7. Share unlisted link to "My TV Shows", "My Anime", "My Movies"

    When a profile is private, one is unable to share a link to their list of watched movies for example without changing the profile privacy setting to Public. This is a shame.

    Like with lists, we can make them unlisted instead of private and then share the unlisted link. It would be great if "My TV Shows", "My Anime", and "My Movies" could be shared in this way too. Currently when on one of those three pages, the floppy disk icon on the right provides a popup of options, one being the Share option, but it only copies the page's…

    Hello Simkl . This is about my , My Stats .

    According to My Stats we have 3 parts : watched tv , watched anime and watched movies .

    But with , watched tv , there is too much in one . Because there are series , tv programs and documentaries in one .

    Would it be possible if Series also got his own statistic with only series ?

    So we have watched tv , watched anima , watched movies and Watched Series .

  9. Hidive Integration?

    Is there anyway to eventually include HiDive Anime as one of the anime sites to receive backups from? I like watching HiDive as well as Crunchyroll for my anime. It would be awesome to be able to have the shows I have watched on HiDive automatically added to my watched/watching lists.

  10. When I'm searching for new movies/series to watch, I wish it was easier to find them at the BEGINNING of the story

    When I'm searching for new movies/series to watch, I wish it was easier to find them at the beginning of the story... what do I mean by that? In a nutshell, I just mean that I would love to be able to filter out all sequels. Why? Because right now, my user experience looks something like this:

    1) I run a search for something new to watch... that is to say, I filter out everything that is "on my list".

    2) I order the results by average user rating.

    3) Now, let's suppose, just for the sake of the example,…

  11. Add option to list only free streaming, not ones you have to pay for.

    I love that I can choose movies that are already streaming so I can easily pick my next movie for the night. I also love that I can choose all the apps I have and it tells me where I can watch the movie I want. What I would love is to be able to see which movies are free on one of the streaming apps I already have, rather than having to click on the movie and then finding out that it's on Prime but I have to pay $19.99 to stream it.

  12. When selecting "Marked as watched" have a confirmation before removing the watch history

    Hi there. I've come from Trakt and I'm still getting used to things. When I saw "Marked as watched" on something I had seen, I selected it. The expected result was that it would show me when I had seen it. The actual result was that it unmarked it as watched, and deleted the history. Now I know how it works I'll avoid it, however, I think it would be a good idea to have a "are you sure you want to delete all watch history for this episode/movie?" confirmation.

    Maybe even a 5 second timer after where you have…

    the classic rating system still good
    but I hope to see a different rating system
    because sometimes the usual rating system is not fear
    and the best example I can give will be https://anilist.co
    because with anilist you can rate the way you want
