How can we improve Simkl?

  1. Ability to ignore/untrack specific seasons for a show

    Add the ability to ignore or stop tracking a specific season or episode from Unwatched. This would be for cases where the show has standalone seasons you picked it up in a later season with no intention of going back. This way your unwatched episodes isn’t 200+.

  2. "Collected" tag/flag for episodes

    Trakt used to do this for me, then then broke it and then... well, we all know what's happening with that dumpster fire!

    Essentially all I'm after is a way to track episodes / movies that I have in my collection (ie have ripped / downloaded). I don't care about format (VHS, 720p, 4K... doesn't matter), just that I have it. A tick box to say "got it" is all I need.

    A count of episodes (so I can easily spot missing ones) would be an additional lovely thing to have.

  3. Add option to combine TV and anime into a single tab in the app

    I get why some people want them seperated, but it would be more convenient for me to have them both together so I can view all recently aired and upcoming episodes in one place.

    I need the Ability to Auto Track the Movie I'm Watching Offline,
    i know that there is windows application to track Tv shows and anime, but i need the support for movies also.

    Simkl lists app is good on andoid, simple and fast,but it will be nice if simkl have a fully functioned android app,dont know about ios,but android requires a good simkl app. please consider this request.

  9. Being able to manually modify the identification on kodi

    Hello, I use the simkl tracker on kodi so I don't have to do it manually

    However I have several anime (for example initial d, city hunter etc.) which are not right in the identification

    For example for season 2 of initial d given that on simkl it is considered as a second series and not there sequel while on kodi it is considered as the sequel, the tracker cannot find what it corresponds to

    I would therefore like to know if it was possible to add an option to the Kodi tracker to manually select if desired which series…

  10. A better Android app that allows to rate content

    Existing app is a good companion, but it could be better. I think the only thing that can be improved is the way you rate content in the app. For example, if you want to rate an episode, you need to click that episode and it will open the listing on the web page (which is actually bugged, scrolling doesn't work sometimes). Instead, you can create a new UI for the episode and any other content that can be rated.

  16. BUG: Simkl TV Tracker not working

    Simkl TV Tracker not working with VLC, mpc-hc, mpc-be, Potplayer... Installed normally but cannot track anything.

    Most likely you have multiple Microsoft Visual C++ versions installed on your computer and the tracker gets stuck, uninstalling them usually helps. You can find Visual* in: Control Panel\Programs\Programs and Features

    Also check that both tracker.exe and driver.exe are running and are not blocked by any antivirus app.

  20. Movie and MPC

    MPC-BE and Movies support!

    MPC-BE support for the app. It is being replaced as better player than MPC-HC and people are changing to it. I think it would not be an big issue to add support to it?

    Also movie tracking is really crucial, is this even planned?
