How can we improve Simkl?

  2. More countries in the countries tab.

    Adding more countries to separate the shows that it's based in. So, for example, include countries like Australia and India has a lot of shows have come from that area.

  3. A True Simkl Plugin For Plex

    I'm currently using the Simkl Webhook with Plex, which is good btw, but we need something that's a little more versatile, along the lines of a true Plex plugin, that's not restricted to just marking shows/movies as watched based on what's currently being watched with Plex. Something along the lines of the Trakt plugin, that can also be adjusted to Push all-time watched statuses, watched progress, ratings, lists, newly acquired shows, removed shows, etc associated with your entire Plex library over to Simkl, or Pull the aforementioned from your Simkl library and sync it with Plex. That would be ultimate…

  5. Change history check from every 5 mins to daily or weekly sync.

    Allow an option to change when the extension performs a sync of watch list. I think daily or weekly is sufficient .

    would love to be able to create a collaborative watch list/tracker with another user, a shared list that both users can edit. great for people in a long distance relationship who want to watch together remotely and keep track of what they watch together!

  7. Add individual episodes to Plan to Watch

    It would be nice to have the ability to add individual episodes to my "Plan to Watch" instead of having to add an entire series.

    For example, I'm interested in seeing a few episodes from House Hunters International, but this show has over 150 seasons. I'm only interested in a couple episodes so adding the show to my list isn't helpful, but right now I'm having to keep track of those episodes elsewhere.

  9. Merge custom list / Import Simkl list into custom list

    I have multiple custom lists, but I want to import a few lists in one big horror watchlist.
    Please add option to merge lists or import a Simkl list into another custom list
    And add option to delete all watched movies from a list

  10. Stop using AI to create advertising and marketing assets

    Y'all should know better than using the art plagiarism machine to promote a website dedicated to the appreciate of art. And if you try to censor anyone dissenting on this you're just gonna ensure that they never, ever support your site.

  11. Calendar not showing multiple episodes aired in same day

    When multiple episodes from the same TV Show air on the same day (for example Netflix shows which usually air all episodes on the same day, or shows such as Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man airs multiple episodes in a single day), only a single episode entry appears in the TV Episode Calendar.

    Ideally, there should be a way to show all aired episodes in the Calendar.

    It would be cool to add a +1 watched episode on My List (Latest shows that you haven’t watched yet).
    Right next to the red circle indicating how many new episodes are out there.

  14. Chrome Extension Features +

    It'd be nice to be able to close the lower half that has the enable services for Netflix, Hulu etc. not everyone uses those services!

    Also to be able to mark episodes as watched right from the extension would be neat, then you wouldn't have to open a new page/tab every time you watch an episode!

  16. genre searching cross match

    If it was possible to cross search categories on movies/tv/anime that would be really good. For example being able to see all comedies is good but it would be good if I could add that to romance or drama or both and maybe family friendly etc. ie. be able to narrow down the search a bit more. In expansion to this I know there are sub categories on shows that i've watched but there's no way to actually filter by those categories unless you first find a film which is linked to it so it would be good to expand…

  17. Overlay a check-mark in calendar view for shows you have watched.

    When looking at your shows in the calendar view, you can easily see which of your shows you have seen. This will be especially helpful when trying to coordinate shows that overlap such as Flash/Arrow.

  20. Create a Sub/Dub option for anime

    If possible, please add a sub/dub option in the anime page instead of a separate US release. Also, please enable separate episode trackers for the sub/dub versions.
