How can we improve Simkl?

  6. Display If an anime is Dubbed on the anime’s webpage

    When looking at an anime’s webpage it could say “English dub” next to the other tags related to show. Or include that it’s dubbed somewhere on the anime’s page.

  7. Let us choose if we saw the "regular version" or the "alternate version" of a movie or episodes.

    I think that it could be great to be able to rate each season of a show and not only the whole serie.. Moreover I wish that the rate can be removed if I wrongly mark a thing (Movie,anime,serie..)

  11. Contributor or VIP Edit details button.

    There should be an edit button, where people who are VIP or Contributors can make edits to series information, I've found a few mistakes on a couple of anime shows and tv series and even a few movies. Where they are falsely listed as Porn or something different all together. Below I've listed a photo that has edits I've made to show what I suggest, they are highlighted in red.

    So many websites exist to track movies, tv shows, music etc.
    But all of them lack the ability to track audiobooks.

  16. Sync with Plex Watchlist

    Now that Plex has fully released its Discover feature I find myself using its Watchlist a lot to mark things that I plan to watch. It would be great if that could be imported to Simkl. And if possible (but I imagine difficult) also sync the other way, from Simkl to Plex's Watchlist.

    I'm aware that Plex does not have an "official" API, but the endpoints exist and quite a few apps already use them. Overseerr for example has Watchlist integration as well: https://github.com/sct/overseerr/blob/be047427df62e480fc9b69cb93258837ed72bcf4/server/api/plextv.ts#L263.

  17. Being able to filter movie lists by director, writer, producer, star etc

    For example, if I want to see which directors are most represented in the movies I've watched, and from there I can work out which movies of theirs I haven't seen yet

  18. Please add an option to customize posters

    Please add an option to customize tv show and movie posters, so users can set posters and banners according to their preference.

    more sub categories within genres and to be able to see all catergories. And to be allowed to pick multiple categories to search by ie. horror/thriller/popular
