Two ideas
A title is always added to every show/movie/anime under it's poster everywhere on the site.
Similarly to how IMDB has it done, there's a poster of a movie, and under it there's a title.
Titles are visible in SIMKL Lists app, and on website in some places too, although I can't find where I've seen them.
This could be very helpful, because unfortunatly, some posters are untitled, others are in foreign language, so someone might know the name of an anime, but not how it's written in japanese. There are also those with small or complicated fonts, making it hard to read, especially when the image is small.
I'm not sure about mobile version of website, titles may need a change of placing, to make them more readable, if necessary.A button is added, similar in form to YT "Watch later".
It would indicate whether a show/movie/anime is on a list, and which one, by different icons (currently lists on SIMKL have different icons - watching, plan to etc...). If a movie isn't on any list, three horizontal lines or a "+" woul appear.
Similarly to YT, it would cover a small portion of the poster.
If user clicks on this button, a popup appears with Quick Info about show/movie (title, description, when it's planned to be aired, in case of shows ended or airing). From this popup user is able to add title to a list and rate it.
Such feature is available, but not throughout the entire site, and there's no option to add to a list.
If possible, user could change the color of the icon.
I remember reading an idea to mark list by it's own color. It's kinda similar, only here user can choose the color, or to keep icons generic.
IMDB (or another, similar site) rating could also be placed this way (covering a portion of the poster), or to make it more minimalistic, users could choose to "hide it" in popup.
Hopefully this wouldn't be too much work, after implementation users will be able to plan and organize their libraries in a smoother, simpler, and faster way.
Lists v2 on the website will include titles under posters as well as other indicators when browsing lists and genres. Join Discord https://discord.gg/u89XfYn for beta release announcements.
