Add a Close Friends section to your profile where you can highlight your 3 favorite friends and quickly see how your watching habits compare & mutual taste .
It could include quick links to each friend's profile and a small comparison preview showing things like shared titles, compatibility %, total watch time, completed shows/movies/anime, favorite genres, ratings, and watching streaks.
Clicking the comparison could open a more detailed “You vs. Friend” stats page.

An error occurred while saving the comment I think also adding a few strict requirements:
- Adult (18+) anime should only be accessible to VIP users (not Free or Pro users).
- Require strict 18+ age verification before access is granted.
- User-generated content (reviews, discussions, ratings, etc.) should only be visible to users who have access to adult titles.
- Adult titles can still appear in search or Explore for discoverability, but accessing the title page, tracking, rating, reviewing, comments, discussions or marking them as watched should require a VIP subscription and age verification.This approach keeps the feature available for those who want it while ensuring it is properly restricted and doesn't expose adult content to users who shouldn't have access.

- VIP Users
- 18+ Age
- Needs to be active on SIMKL for 30 days to be eligible
- Need to enable/disable toggle to show NSFWThat would make sense.

An error occurred while saving the comment SIMKL already separates Movies, TV Shows, and Anime, which is something many other tracking sites don't do.
On sites like IMDb and other alternatives, recommendations, lists, and suggestions are often mixed together.
on SIMKL, Keeping content types separate is one of SIMKL's strengths and makes discovery much cleaner...
P.S: If you are not interested in ANIME, I think you can also hide that type.

An error occurred while saving the comment This can be achieved by creating a Custom Collection list and manually arranging the titles in your preferred watch order using drag-and-drop.
You can then set the sorting option to “My Position” to preserve the custom sequence.
Or are you referring to having a Custom Position sorting option available directly within the user’s My Watchlist?

Filters like below would be interesting:
- Mood Based
- Emoji Styled
- Share Taste % Wise
- Watchlist Queues (like YouTube, Spotify)
- Filtering based on when added "“Why Did I Add This?”"
- Stats wise: total watched, watching, completed, etcSIMKL has soo many Advanced Filtering Options in V2

Notifications for TV Status, when it gets cancelled or renewed or returning etc
or if a shows all episodes of that season is finally aired, to get notified for binge watching!
