SIMKL already separates Movies, TV Shows, and Anime, which is something many other tracking sites don't do.
On sites like IMDb and other alternatives, recommendations, lists, and suggestions are often mixed together.
on SIMKL, Keeping content types separate is one of SIMKL's strengths and makes discovery much cleaner...
P.S: If you are not interested in ANIME, I think you can also hide that type.
Here is an FAQ on Mixed List:

This can be achieved by creating a Custom Collection list and manually arranging the titles in your preferred watch order using drag-and-drop.
You can then set the sorting option to “My Position” to preserve the custom sequence.
Or are you referring to having a Custom Position sorting option available directly within the user’s My Watchlist?

Interesting idea!
I think, Crunchyroll used to have this feature, that used to show dub/sub on calendar.
A bit downgraded now...

What filters do you think, is missing or needed on SIMKL?
Filters like below would be interesting:
- Mood Based
- Emoji Styled
- Share Taste % Wise
- Watchlist Queues (like YouTube, Spotify)
- Filtering based on when added "“Why Did I Add This?”"
- Stats wise: total watched, watching, completed, etcSIMKL has soo many Advanced Filtering Options in V2

I like this idea as well. Some kind of “Mark as Ignored” option at the episode or season level (essentially the opposite of Mark as Watched) would be very useful.
A clear example is American Horror Story, each season is a completely separate story. Many viewers intentionally skip seasons that don’t interest them but still want to follow the show and track future seasons.
Another example is Marvel's What If...?, where you might skip a few episodes you’re not interested in but still want to keep up with the series overall.
This comes up a lot with reality shows like MasterChef or Shark Tank, where users may ignore certain episodes or older seasons without wanting hundreds of unwatched episodes cluttering their stats.
Being able to ignore specific seasons or episodes would keep tracking clean and accurate without forcing users to drop the entire series.
As a bonus, it could be interesting if SIMKL added stats like:
- Total users who ignored/skipped a specific episode or season
- Community ignore metrics (with Visual indicators)
- Also adding a reason or note or comment - why they ignored it! -

Looks like this website might eventually shutdown... Last news posted in 2016.
how can this be integrated? with the current SIMKLs future goals..?
By the way, There is a site called Taste Dive.. that also provide Places along with other tracking..
