I'll share my workarounds for others following this feature until it's available.

What I do for TV shows that are not on a service I have is move them from Watching back to Plan to Watch. Then once a month I check to see if it's available. This tends to happen to me with British shows as seasons are on delay coming to the US.

What I do for movies is Favorite the ones that become available for free on streaming. Sometimes they disappear from a streaming services though.

This feature would certainly save me time.

Very intriguing idea. But not a small ask to get it right.

Thinking of how Simkl works for movies and tv and imaging how games would likely get added, I would want to see the following improvements (these would also be good for physical media collecting of movie and TV shows):

    - MUST: The system the game is for. You want to be able to track the Xbox, Nintendo and PS separately.
    - NICE: The location it is stored for physical media. (Downstairs, library, living room, etc)
    - NICE: The locations it is installed on for older media. For example, if I buy a game from Itch I might install it on mega drive, a handheld and a PC.
    - MUST: Screenshots, videos and manuals.
    - NICE: Retroachievement integration.
    - MUST: Track every time you play it and how long.

You can use custom lists for a lot of this stuff, which are essentially super tags. But being able to add CUSTOM FIELDS and CUSTOM SELECTION LISTS would be better. I track versus and coop and party games. And if a field is missing from the core data like the programmer who made it, I would not want to add a list for every programmer. Being able to add manuals and other physical artifacts (like picture of YOUR items) is something game collectors also like to be able to do.

I know this is a lot to ask. Which is why after trying game collecting site I keep finding myself going back to a spreadsheet.

Things I track that most game collecting sites have: title, release date, system, rating, max players, want to play, own, want to own, versus, coop, digital / physical ownership or both, price paid, current value, date purchased, publisher, do I own the loose game / box / manual / etc.

Things I track that most collecting sites don't have: party mode (more than 2 players), the game is embedded in a collection of games, is it a prototype or beta, does it require a special controller on the system, programmers who worked on it.

Please don't lock this behind VIP. This should be considered a core feature. At least bring it down to Pro.
