    Simkl now supports tracking anime seasons using both Japanese and American databases when using streaming apps! 

    This enhancement works with Plex https://simkl.com/apps/plex/, TVDB, and TMDB agents, as well with all API tracking endpoints, Kodi and other media servers. So whether you're watching Season 3, Episode XX of your favorite anime, Simkl has you covered! 🇯🇵🇺🇸

    Added relations for Anime so you can find the previous or next "Season" of the anime. You will receive a notification when new related anime, OVA, or a movie is released if you have enabled this option in notification settings https://simkl.com/settings/notifications/.

    Thank you for all the improvements you've made to anime tracking. However, I still believe anime seasons should be grouped under a single series, similar to how TV shows are handled. Having each season as a separate entry makes long-running anime difficult to manage. Users have to search for and add every new season manually, which also makes it easy to miss new releases and episode notifications. A unified series page with all seasons connected would provide a much cleaner and more user-friendly experience while still allowing season-specific progress tracking. As someone who migrated from TV Time, this is one of the features I miss the most. I hope you'll consider implementing it in the future. Thank you!

    Thank you for adding anime relations and notifications. While this is a helpful improvement, it doesn't completely solve the issue. I migrated from TV Time, and I expected new seasons of anime I'm watching or have completed to automatically appear in my Watching or Plan to Watch list. Otherwise, it's still easy to miss a new season because I have to manually add it before I can receive episode notifications. It would be great if Simkl could automatically follow future sequel seasons or at least prompt users to add them with a single click. This would make anime tracking much more convenient. Thank you for considering this feature.
