How can we improve Simkl?

  1. show the name of the movie/tvshow/anime on the lenguage of the location of the user

    Sometimes it is hard to find a movie, tvshow or anime, because you do not know in what lenguage it's the name on Simkl.

    Would be great that by the "location" option on the profile settings, the web show the names the movie, tvshow or anime have on that location.

    IMDB, show on the info of a movie,tvshow or anime, the different names it have for some locations. Maybe Simkl could take the names and locations by there.

  2. Could a section be added where you can "store" shows not currently being aired. Shows that are waiting for next season air date

  3. trak youtube channels (like youtubers)

    Youtube is like a new tv service many user use. When an user follow many channels on youtube you can easily lose what was the last video you saw from a channel, or if a video you saw it or not.

  5. Merge anime seasons into one show

    It would be much better if you could merge Seasons 1 & 2 of Attack On Titan, My Hero Academia, and any other anime in need on your site into one show.

    Simkl now supports tracking anime seasons using both Japanese and American databases when using streaming apps! 


    This enhancement works with Plex https://simkl.com/apps/plex/, TVDB, and TMDB agents, as well with all API tracking endpoints, Kodi and other media servers. So whether you're watching Season 3, Episode XX of your favorite anime, Simkl has you covered! 🇯🇵🇺🇸


    Added relations for Anime so you can find the previous or next "Season" of the anime. You will receive a notification when new related anime, OVA, or a movie is released if you have enabled this option in notification settings https://simkl.com/settings/notifications/.

  6. Add multiple select option for episode selection

    It would be nice if we could multiple select episodes 1-80 of the first hundred episodes of One Piece, for example, instead of selecting all 99 episodes and then de-selecting episodes 81-99.

  7. Create a Sub/Dub option for anime

    If possible, please add a sub/dub option in the anime page instead of a separate US release. Also, please enable separate episode trackers for the sub/dub versions.

  12. Sort by streaming availability

    Allow "include" view option based on streaming availability. Only videos available to stream (on the sites we have access to) are displayed.

    If we could include/exclude videos based on availability, SIMKL would be the go-to source when trying to decide what to watch.

    My list doesn't help much if it's littered with things I want to see, but can't watch.

  16. Closing the loop.

    I'll be closer review to this application from both a beginner stand point and an advanced tech standpoint I would recommend adding things such as a perspective how to when you first start using this application, because I can see this being the next biggest thing for everyone to use, in my opinion it would benefit adding quick how to points to allow users to set up links to prevent which questions such as how do I or why can I not watch my favorite show from here and so on.     Today i first saw your awesome site, through out the day some improvement ideas have come to my mind. I wish there were more streams like Vivo or Opencloud, similar to BS.

    If you are familiar with "Steam", you'll know about groups. Users can create their own groups, public or private/invite only, for all kind of interests.

    Why I'd consider this useful is to invite already existing communities to simkl. On all kinds of forums you'll find people talking about which movies and shows they recommend - why not make it easier for them?

    With groups they'd have to chance to connect with familiar names immediately. And you could offer tons of statistics based on the group's interests.
