Wow, was kinda shocked that rating episodes wasn't possible. Was about to pull the trigger on abandoning Trakt due to the horrendous new UI. Not being able to keep track of episode ratings is a total showstopper. Guess I'm sticking with Trakt until this is doable, as that's one of the few absolutely mandatory features I need.

We need this ASAP

As everyone has already said this is the feature we need the most and should be priority #1, pls add it. The sooner the better.

As P.B. said, many people are looking to switch over from Trakt, and at least for me, this and being able to mark rewatches are the only things stopping me from doing it completely. I'm sure even a confirmation that you're planning to implement this would be enough to convince a lot of us to come over here

I stopped using Trakt literally yesterday because the new website UI is just horrendous, so I migrated to Simkl. Just now, I was about to watch a series episode, and the rating option was nowhere to be found. Like someone said in the comments, this should be the top priority.

Trakt V3 is a disaster, and this feature is the only thing stopping a mass migration to Simkl.

Thousands of paying power users (VIPs) are looking for a new home right now. We have 10+ years of history with granular episode ratings that we don't want to lose. Simkl is the best alternative, but without Episode & Season Ratings, we physically cannot switch.

The window of opportunity is NOW. If you prioritize this feature immediately, you capture the entire enthusiast market that Trakt just alienated. If you wait, we’ll move to self-hosted solutions. Please, take our money and give us this feature.

We can rate a movie or series, but not individual episodes.
I don't mean the emotion system, but also the option to rate episodes from 1 to 10, as is possible on themoviedb, imdb, or their competitor trakt.
In addition, the rating system would be completely consistent within simkl.

THIS SHOULD BE PRIORITY #1. This thread is from 2016 If it hasn't been done yet I will think it isn't being worked at all if 9 years has passed... I came from Trakt and people say your platform is better but what is a tv-show tracking platform without rating individual episodes. Disappointing

The ability to rate on a per episode and season is quintessentially one of the main purposes of a 'movie and tv show tracking' software (in my opinion) as well as tracking what you watched you must be able to rate after watching as a reminder of which episode was a straight up 10/10 and which episodes were really disappointing, plus, which season as a whole was only a 4/10 and which season defined the show? Often times I like to rewatch certain episodes of certain seasons of a tv show in a random order (usually the ones which I highly rated) This is the kind of information one would expect of such software.

Just chiming in to say that rating individual episodes (and seasons) would be really nice. I like seeing what other users think were the low and high points of each show.

It's particular nice for episodic and anthology type series with disconnected or only loosely related episodes that you can watch out of order.

I have quite a bit of this data sitting on Trakt that I'd love to be able to import over if it's possible to map things across on a per-episode level.

Being able to rate invidual episodes of a show is a critical requirement of this kind of app/site for me. It was my main use for Trakt, and I'm keen to move over to Simkl as a replacement.

I'm new to simkl, such a great platform. This is the main thing that is still missing imho. As soon as individual episode rating is available and can be synct via the kodi-plugin, I'll skip trakt and geht the simkl lifetime.

We need at least rate/score for TV Shows seasons (1~10 stars), because some of them are completely different (full new cast) or has a lot of seasons or one season is better than the other, if you can add the new cover of the season also will be great, as extra (future). About episodes would be great too (future), but can wait, but seasons rate is critical.

The thing is that there are some series called "anthology" series, like "True Detective".
They have a different story and sometimes actors, so they can't be rated as a whole.

I really will like this feature. Sometimes, I like to rate by season, sometimes by episode. It will be good is this feature is implemented.

When listing seasons and episodes of a show, display ratings from IMDB for each episode and each season.
