How can we improve Simkl?

  2. It's not clear whether the show has ended or not

    According to SIMKL show has ended after 1st season, yet there's season 2, TBA on 02-09-2021. IMDB says the show hasn't ended at all.

  4. Alert about character limit for bio - otherwise text will be lost

    Hi

    First of all thanks for Simkl! I love it.

    It looks the current limit for the bio is at 4k. And any extra character ends up being deleted but you only notice it at a later time when you open the page again.

    I'm tagging this one as a bug, but it would be nice if this limit could be increased. So making a small request here too :) But can perfectly understand if this is more trouble than it's worth. (sometimes it's a bit more complicated than changing a number)

  5. Request refresh for poster

    The poster for "De Slimste Mens" seems to have been imported in a corrupt way (it shows grey except for 1/10 on the top). Kindly manually refresh it.

  6. Movie exists in TMDB but not on Simkl

    On the support page it says that if the movie exists on TMDB it will be added to the site.
    However this entry already exists for many years in TMDB and the movie is not present in Simkl.

  9. One little stupid thing :)

    "W" or "w" appear in the button of "Plan to Watch". It is strange :)

    In lowercase when you are going to select it and when you have selected it without reloading the page. And in capital letters when you reload the page or access again in a film / series that is already marked as view.

  10. NCIS wrong date

    It says Last Ep. aired on Wednesday 18-11-2020 on last episode of the entire season 18, and so far it only had 3 episodes.

  11. Apply filters and better sort options to your lists

    I can't find a way to filter by genre AND sort by my personal rating (score) for the movies I've watched. In other words, if someone asks me, "What are the best sci-fi movies you've watched in the last 10 years?" I would NOT be able to find that information easily in Simkl because there's no way to filter by genre and sort by my own rating on a single page.

    More info: The profile page allows me to sort by my personal rating (score), but there's no genre filter there. And the movies page allows me to filter by…

  12. Eliminate chapter 8x23 Blue Bloods (It does not exist)

    Season 8 has 22 chapters. Consequently, the last episode is the 8x22.

  13. Remove the 'Waiting for your rating section' in profile

    As I don't rate movies, shows and anime I find it a bit annoying when I visit my profile, I always see that Movies and shows waiting for my rating section.

    Would love to have a option to disable that.

    I know you launched an Emby Scrobbler last year, but would it be possible to create/publish the same plugin for Jellyfin open source fork of Emby?

  18. A few series keep showing in "My List" as not yet watched, while checked as watched.

    I marked all "The Get Down" series as watched, but 5 episodes are bugged and keep showing in "My List" as not yet watched.
