We do that on mobile interface, need to rewrite for desktop. Alternativly you can click on the episode and use the "Mark as watched" button on the episode page itself.

This is still missing from the desktop website in August 2026.

I'm another long-term user experiencing exactly this issue. I've used SIMKL to track hundreds of shows and I have never once seen the desktop website offer the option to “mark this episode and all previous episodes as watched”.

For example, if I've watched episode 101 and then watch episode 130, episodes 102–129 remain unwatched. When I mark episode 130 as watched, SIMKL simply marks episode 130. There is no prompt asking whether I want to mark the previous unwatched episodes as watched.

    I have had to either:

    • mark individual episodes manually, or
    • mark the entire season as watched, which isn't suitable for an ongoing season because it also marks episodes that haven't aired yet.

I have now discovered that Edit eps provides a workable bulk-selection solution, but this isn't the behaviour described in SIMKL's documentation, nor is it as convenient as simply being asked whether I want to mark the previous unwatched episodes.

The original response says that this works on mobile and needs to be rewritten for desktop. That response is now quite old, and the issue still appears to be present on the desktop site.

I've found the workaround, but the documented/intended workflow is still missing. SIMKL's support site currently still has this request in the Planned category but since this response was over a year and a half ago, i would have expected a fix/solution by now?

Could you please clarify whether this functionality to the desktop interface is still planned?
