How can we improve Simkl?

  2. Sort by time to watch

    When I'm choosing the next show/movie to watch, I usually go by what genre I want and then by how long it wold take to watch. I remember the genre of shows by their name, but I never know how long it would take to watch them. I can open up a new tab for the show to find out, but if I could sort by time to watch (like we can with name, rank, etc) that would be really nice. It doesn't need to be exact, the guesstimate that's shown on show pages would be plenty.

  3. Bug in removing TV series

    There is a TV series (Peaky Blinders) that can't be removed from currently watching. Even removing it from lists doesn't get rid of it.

  4. Filtering TVShows by missed/not watched episodes.

    Sorting Watching TVShows by which shows I am behind on.
    Saw added functionality will come for filtering of lists.
    Please add a filter to enable me to see which shows I've missed episodes or seasons of.

  6. Wrong episodes

    For some shows wrong/non-existing episodes keeps popping up. For example:
    https://simkl.com/tv/826856/the-abc-murders have only 3 episodes, but ep.4 re-appearing every month or so (even if you mark it as watched).
    https://simkl.com/tv/968156/doom-patrol season 1 have 15 episodes, however ep.16 suddenly appeared out of the blue.
    It would be nice to have the ability to report wrong episodes directly from the site/app.

    Season 201 and Season 2 are same.
    Season 202 and Season 3 are same.

    You cannot put currently airing shows in Completed. They will stay in watching so you could receive new episode notifications.

    If you find shows that have Ended but are not displayed as ended on Simkl, please notify us at [email protected] so we can fix these shows. Sometimes extra non-existing episodes are added to TVDB and need to be deleted manually.

    If you had a genre setting, then it would be easier to find the specific show you are looking for :)

  15. Clearly list streaming options from a title's main page

    Right now you have to click on an episode to see the available streaming options, but there should be a clear list of available streaming options for the series in general from the main information page of any title. This is a feature on the mobile apps.

  16. Missing episodes in iOS app

    In the series "Tonari no Seki-kun" https://simkl.com/anime/44616/tonari-no-seki-kun/episodes/ the last 4 episodes (Episodes 1, 2, 3 and 4) are missing in the app, it arrives at 21 and then it doesn't show anything else. Also, Episodes 3 and 4 are specials from the series, while 1 and 2 do not exist.
    There are other series missing special episodes in app while they are in the site like in here https://simkl.com/anime/38496/afro-samurai/episodes/

  17. Adding the ability for the user to add there own links of where you can watch the said show

    For the individual user to add there own links to search for where you can watch the said show, as you can in the TV Series - Your Shows Manager app

  18. Sync SIMKL calendar with GOOGLE

    Allow our SIMKL calendar to appear in Google Calendar, It'll be synced and updated every time.

    This feature is possible by using the Add URL of calendar in Google Calendar.

    Every SIMKL account would have his/her own calendar LINK to export to Google.

  19. Better lists and overviews.

    In the 'currently watching', you should have a divider. Over the line should the 'my list' that is displayed on your profile, and underneath it, all 'currently watching' that you are up to date on.

    Also, Adding a 'on hold' status. You sometimes want to take a break - and not have it in 'currently', but not in the 'dropped either'.

    Also, would be nice with custom lists. Not as a status, but where you can gather things like 'movies I recommend for dates' etc.

  20. wrong netflix link

    Netflix link: http://www.netflix.com/watch/80172474 takes you to an episode of the tv show of Forces of Nature not the movie of the same name.
