Something that always frustrates me with Simkl's layout.

This is present across the website, app, and profiles. The ordering of the types of media don't really make logical sense.

The order is currently: TV -> Anime -> Movies

Movies and TV are both formats and dictate how content is consumed and have the widest appeal. Both are more linked to "people" than "animation."

Movies are the largest requiring more of a commitment for a sitting (larger format).

TV shows are episode chunks (smaller format).

Anime isn't really a format, but a style. A very popular style, which doesn't fit neatly into movies or TV, which is why it warrants its own category. It is a smaller, dedicated niche of the wider viewing pool.

Putting Anime between TV and Movies breaks the grouping. While TV -> Movies -> Anime works better it also somewhat breaks the grouping of how this content is consumed, which TV and Anime share more often (animation, episodes).

The option that makes the most sense would be:

Movies -> TV -> Anime

Putting it in this order makes more logical sense (Big screen -> small screen -> Niche). It makes it better for non-anime watchers so they can go between movies and TV while anime off to the side so they don't need to work around it. It also gives quick access to anime watchers, always on the right.

Hope you will consider the change.
