How can we improve Simkl?

  1. Movies Auto Lists always open with Filters shown (expanded) by default

    Unlike auto lists created for TV Shows or Anime, a Movies auto list is always loaded with the filters shown (expanded) by default. This is in contrast to auto lists for TV Shows and Anime which always load with the filters sidebar hidden (collapsed).

    When there are a lot of titles, we show filters in all lists by default. For smaller lists where there is no need to filter anything, we hide the filters automatically.

  2. Pennyworth show pages not loading

    For some reason, this show isn't loading correctly for me anymore. I think it might be a change in the link. I think the title changed from "Pennyworth" to "Pennyworth: The Origin of Batman's Butler". And it looks like "%C2%A0" being used in place of spaces in the link. I believe in most of the links, dashes (-) are used for spaces. Maybe that has something to do with the problem? Though if I replace the "%C2%A0" with "-", the pages still don't load. Here is the link I see:

  4. Date format is wrong on https://simkl.com/tv/today/

    I live in Denmark and i have set the date format to DD.MM.YYYY, on https://simkl.com/tv/today/ it shows as Today, Wednesday 8/17/2022.
    I would love it if it get fixed. Thanks in advance.

  5. There is a error on an Anime Image

  6. Missing episodes for Anime

    The anime Xian Wang De Ri Chang Sheng Huo is missing episodes. I checked anidb and the episodes are listed there.

  8. Alert about character limit for bio - otherwise text will be lost

    Hi

    First of all thanks for Simkl! I love it.

    It looks the current limit for the bio is at 4k. And any extra character ends up being deleted but you only notice it at a later time when you open the page again.

    I'm tagging this one as a bug, but it would be nice if this limit could be increased. So making a small request here too :) But can perfectly understand if this is more trouble than it's worth. (sometimes it's a bit more complicated than changing a number)

  9. Movie exists in TMDB but not on Simkl

    On the support page it says that if the movie exists on TMDB it will be added to the site.
    However this entry already exists for many years in TMDB and the movie is not present in Simkl.

    The second season of "The Haunting" has only 9 episodes but appears on the websites to have 10.

  11. A few series keep showing in "My List" as not yet watched, while checked as watched.

    I marked all "The Get Down" series as watched, but 5 episodes are bugged and keep showing in "My List" as not yet watched.

  12. Zero Punctuation Fix

    The site is listing the episodes twice.
    Season 2019 is Season 13
    Season 2018 is Season 12 and so forth.

  13. SpongeBob episode displaying incorrect image

    A little bug here, the SpongeBob SquarePants S12, E10, titled "Gary's Got Legs" is currently displaying the incorrect image (https://simkl.com/tv/5420/spongebob-squarepants/season-12/episode-10/). The image currently there is actually for "SpongeBob's Big Birthday Blowout", which is already listed under "specials" (3 times it's actually listed there, the one with the image is the correct one).

    Here (https://www.thetvdb.com/series/spongebob-squarepants/episodes/7255537) is the image that should be displayed for "Gary's Got Legs". Hope this can get fixed soon, thank you!

  14. Bug in removing TV series

    There is a TV series (Peaky Blinders) that can't be removed from currently watching. Even removing it from lists doesn't get rid of it.

    You cannot put currently airing shows in Completed. They will stay in watching so you could receive new episode notifications.

    If you find shows that have Ended but are not displayed as ended on Simkl, please notify us at support@simkl.com so we can fix these shows. Sometimes extra non-existing episodes are added to TVDB and need to be deleted manually.
